Mindful Purpose Counseling currently provides psychological testing, neuropsychological assessments and therapy services. Organizational consultations are also available for local programs, schools and companies in the areas of mental health support initiatives or assessments.
Child Service focus include: behavioral disturbances or developmental concerns, parenting support, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, trauma, attachment and transitions.
Adolescent Service focus include: identity formation, substance use, depression, anxiety, self-harming, trauma, academic concerns, body image and relationship conflict.
Adult Service focus include: depression, anxiety, anger management, substance misuse, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and medical traumas, relationship conflict, divorce, grief and loss, caregiving stress and life transitions.
Dr. Marsh has also named her practice Mindful Purpose Counseling as she has a special interest in Evidenced Based treatment in combination with mindfulness-based techniques that include:
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
- Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
She also utilizes Expressive Art Therapy, Child Development and Person-Centered theories, Play Therapy and Music Therapy.
